I like books that aren’t just lovely but that have memories in themselves. Just like playing a song, picking up a book again that has memories can take you back to another place or another time.

Korotan D - Chapter 2: English Translation
Here’s chapter 2 of Korotan D! Like with chapter 1, I want to highlight who appears for any fans of any particular characters, but it’s a lot harder this time around because chapter 2 begins with Class E reuniting with each other, and then later, Kayano, so just about everyone appears. Some highlights include Nagisa being shown to have picked up some of Korosensei’s teaching habits, the return of Karma vs Terasaka antics, Hazama being amazingly clever, Takebayashi’s otaku-ness being incredibly useful, and a professional Kayano.
As a heads up to readers, this chapter is nearly twice as long as chapter one (which is among several reasons why it took so long for me to finish this), so while there’s much to enjoy, it may take some time to read it all. Like last time, I scanned and inserted pictures as they appeared in the book.
Chapter 2: Graduation Trip Time
“It’s been awhile!”
“How have you been!?”
At the airport, a reunited 3-E was chattering with each other. They talked with those who went to the same high school or lived in the same neighborhood, and thus met each other often, and they talked with those whom they haven’t seen since the anniversary of Korosensei’s death, a time when everyone in Class E gathers together.
“Sugino, looks like you’ve gotten even more buffed since the last time I saw you, huh?”
Sugino smiled at Maehara, who had called out to him.
“Yeah, I guess so. I’m aiming for entering the pro leagues in four years, so I’m carefully honing my body.”
Sugino’s body had gotten even bigger than when he played at Koshien.*
“I bet you’ll kick ass on the college baseball scene, too!”
“Yeah!”
Sugino was feeling great, but he suddenly looked nervous.
Korotan D: Chapter 3 - English Translation
This chapter, like chapter 1, is fairly short, so it was pretty easy to translate ^^
In this chapter, along with our usual trio, we get a lot of Chiba, Hayami, Sugaya, and Okajima, along with some Yada, Mimura, and Itona!

Chapter 3: Filming Time
Just as Kayano and the rest of Class E were returning to the film site after lunch-break was over, a member of the staff got into a heated argument with the director. The assistant director and Jerome tried to arbitrate between them, but the two only heated up their argument.
“I can’t postpone the shooting date any more than I already have! Doing things your way will take too much time!”
“It’s your job to keep your work on schedule! We’re running late because you take so much time communicating with the local staff, not to mention they take too much time to procure the goods I ask for!”
Korotan D: English Translation of Chapter 4
Here’s chapter 4 of Korotan D, aka the return of the ship-teasing! There’s even an actual boat! This chapter will make Karumana fans very happy. Nagikae fans, too, but you may find Nagisa’s denseness a little bit agonizing (you’ll see what I mean) ^^;
That being said, Nagisa and Karma are simply doing what they do best (being ‘positive’ and being a ‘prankster’, respectively) and being great friends in general, so if you’re not a fan of the ships but are a fan of the characters, I’m sure you’ll find this chapter enjoyable as well!
Maehara and Okano get a lot of time together as well. We also see some Yada, Kanzaki, Hara, and more Okajima!
Chapter 4 - Temptation Time
When shooting a film, only a little bit of time is spent with the camera actually rolling, as most of the time is spent on preparations. One must patiently wait for the actors and setting to be arranged, and sometimes it’s imperative that one concentrate on one’s acting in order to make a shot last for only a few seconds.
Preparing for the possibility that filming will resume shortly, Kayano was outside her trailer and rereading the script.
“Haruna, you wanna go take a break in my trailer?”
Jerome said from behind. Kayano responded with a smile,
“No, I’m alright. If I return to a cool trailer, my senses will go all out of order, so I’m staying outside.”
“You’re so serious. You need to relax more.”
Korotan D - English Translation of Chapter 5
Here’s all 15 pages of chapter 5! It’s quite a bit to read, this time ^^;
Things take a dire turn in this chapter, so we get to see Fuwa put her Katsuragi Yako-esque deductive abilities to use, while Isogai, Megu, and Karma use their leadership skills to mobilize the class. Athletic students like Okano and Kimura get a chance to shine as well. Also, as you can see in the picture above, Class E finds one of Korosensei’s houses!
I apologize in advance for the ending, though…
Chapter 5: Thief Time
The next day, while Terasaka was taking a breather after he had finished carrying all the lighting equipment early in the morning, he noticed several people with an imposing atmosphere. One held a duralumin* case, while another was surveying the surrounding area. Furthermore, behind them was a monk wearing brilliant orange robes.
Nathonni fidgeted restlessly as he waited for the three to approach.
“So you’ve come at last. Please, allow us to see it.”
Korotan D - English Translation of Chapter 6
This chapter, it’s Nagisa’s time to shine! For once, we actually get to hear some of Nagisa’s thoughts on Kayano! It certainly took long enough!
We also get to see the rest of the class kick some more tail, like Itona, Isogai, Karma, Terasaka, Sugino, Okano, and many more!
Chapter 6: Right Beside Each Other Time
“Kayano!?”
Feeling a sense of apprehension, Nagisa immediately headed toward the direction of the voice and rushed out of Korosensei’s house.
There, Rawan was standing with one of his minions. He held Kayano, who was tied up, by his side as he brandished a sword with his other hand.
“Kayano!”
The sight made Nagisa grow pale. The rest of Class E who had followed behind him also froze in place.
Korotan D: English Translation of Chapter 7 (Last Chapter)
Finally, we have reached chapter 7! It’s been a fun ride, but all good things must come to an end :’D
In this chapter, Karma confronts Nagisa about Kayano, so Nagisa’s thoughts are revealed to the reader a bit more. Only a bit, though, as it seems that Nagisa might be better at reading Karma than Karma is at reading Nagisa. Also, a good portion of this chapter is Kayano being amazing and the class’s well-read folks (Hazama, Fuwa, and Mimura) appreciating her amazingness. Well, I guess everyone in 3-E found her amazing, but those three’s conversation about movie adaptations was fun to read ^^
Chapter 7: Performance Time
“We’ll start filming in 10 minutes! Hurry it up with your preparations!”
Nathonni raised his voice through a megaphone. The art group was busy working to reproduce an authentic-looking street of food stalls. Sugaya, too, worked as a member of the art group, painting one of the stalls so that a feeling of livelihood could be felt.
Kimura, Isogai, Kataoka, Okano, and Maehara, the members of Class E who were particularly confident in their physical abilities, hurried to put on their costumes in the waiting room. After hearing about Class E’s efforts to recover the golden Buddha statue from Jerome, the director suddenly decided to add another scene. It was a scene where ninjas who pursued Rin from Japan have a showdown with Jerome, a scene that was once rejected because they didn’t have enough stuntmen. He offered to have Class E play the part of the ninja group.
Knowing that he was about to take part in an action scene, Kimura was itching with excitement as he checked out the ninja costumes, which Hara helped make. Karma peeped in on the five ninja figures as they waited in the waiting room.
